Privacy policy

LeadGen is a Chrome extension published by Wiplist Pty Ltd (ABN to be confirmed), Australia. This page explains what the extension handles and where it goes. Read it alongside the permissions Chrome shows you at install.

What the extension reads

When you run Auto Fill on a page, the extension reads the visible content of that page, plus any text you have highlighted, so it can pull out company and contact details. It only does this when you ask it to. It does not read pages in the background.

Where that content goes

Page content is sent to the AI provider you selected in settings, using the API key you supplied, so the provider can return the extracted fields. Wiplist does not receive or store that page content. Your provider's own privacy terms apply to that request.

What is stored, and where

Google account access

If you connect Google Sheets, you grant access through Google's own consent screen. The extension uses that access only to create the lead template in your Drive and to append rows to that sheet. It does not read your other files. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

Email verification

When you check an email address, the address is sent to a verification service to find out whether the inbox exists. The result is returned to the extension and stored with your lead. The address is not added to any marketing list.

What we do not do

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage, including your API key and settings. Your Google Sheet stays in your Drive until you delete it. For a Wiplist workspace, contact us and we will remove the records.
